Eventually appointed to be the CPSC’s Small Business Ombudsman, Neal has spoken at conferences, symposia, and trade shows in a variety of industries around the world.  Neal is also the lead author and designer of CPSC’s Regulatory Robot.  The Robot, which catalogs and guides businesses through every regulation that the CPSC enforces, was the first of its kind and represented one of Neal’s many accomplishments in restoring trust between CPSC staff and the regulated business community after the rollout of the Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act of 2008.
