Pinuccia Contino is the Head of Product Safety and Rapid Alert System in the Directorate-General for Justice and Consumers of the European Commission (DG JUST). In this capacity, among other things, she is working on emerging issues such as connected devices and cybersecurity, on the online aspects of product safety, and on the enhancement of the Rapid Alert System (RAPEX), making the most of international cooperation and intensifying stakeholder involvement.
